Hyper Japan 2015

Hey there!

I went to Hyper Japan yesterday and I jad so much fun. For those of you who don't know, it is a convention / festival of everything Japanese. Games, anime, music, food. I had never been up until yesteday and I am so glad I did. My feet hate me since we went for all day. Dual Ticket!

I shall be posting many images of my adventures. I didn't take too many but enough that it has good memories.

Travelling to London is always a drag, it was rather warm too so I got rather hot on the tube. I adore my outfit, even though I was burning up in it.

I love my top and my tights, both I bought in Tokyo. Adorable cat tights! A lady on the tube complimented them and said she wanted some. Hehe. Hopes she finds some!

Onwards to the O2!

I hav no idea why my finger is in the way. But I decdied to take a few images of the beautiful weather and the architecture down in North Greenwich just outside the O2 Arena. Also took a picture of my green dual ticket wristband. I spent most of the day holding my arm up so the staff could see it to let me in areas.

We had lunch in GBK, cheese burger and a coke. Gain energy to get us through the afternoon.

We started off in Area 1 which was Nintendo and gaming area. Lost of manga and merch too.

As you can see in the far right of the image we have an Attack on Titan Colossus Titan head.

AHH!!

We had a browse and saw lots of cute things, played a few of the games that were on display. Played a little Sword Art Online, pretty good. I will most likely purchase it when it is released.

Next up was looking around Area 2, which was all the stalls and things like that. I didn't really like much of what was there. Had a laugh with some people selling DVDs and ended up wandering towards the Wembley X Japan stall.

Now, X-Japan is kind of a big band in Japan, well in he J-rock and VK world. They are a huge influence on a lot of bands out there. They are having a world film premier and a concert in March next year. I went over to have a look and chat about it. As the conversation progressed I ended up buying myself a ticket which also includes Meet & Greet. This will probably be my only time seeing them, considering one of the members is injured and won't be able to play for much longer. It is injury brought on by playing piano and drums for so long.

The ticket comes in a lovely leather holder. ^_^

After this however, I ended up seeing two members of this band LIVE. I have pirctures to prove it!

I was on the 2nd Floor so the image of them on stage isn't to great. They played some of my favourite songs by them. Utterly magical.

Once they finished playing we wandered off into the gaming area again. Played a few more games, went to see if there was anything we wanted to buy. I ended up buying myself a CardCaptor Sakura figure. It was the one that was released the day we left Tokyo last year. I am so happy I bought it!

Cardcaptor Sakura spam!

This is so adorable! Aaaahhh!!! ♥♥♥

I will finish on the best event that happened all day. I went to a Meet & Greet of a band that I absolutely love. True, I don't always listen to them but when I do, I love every second, I dance and sing along to pretty much every song.

That band is.... Lost Ash!
Prepare for spam..

I bought a few things, a photoset, which will be displayed below, a nice group picture with an enma board and a cute little mirror!

I got the image signed!! They were the sweetest people I have ever met. I had a chat with them about the UK, I tried to welcome them as best as I could. I hope they enjoy their time here. Their twitter is full of images of them sightseeing. I would like them to come here again.

Photoset!

Last but not least... I got to get a picture taken with them! Adorable!!

After the shaking subsided, we decided to go for a cheeky Nandos and then sit in a Matsuri Garden with a cold Kirin beer before Lost Ash played LIVE.

The live was truly amazing. It is a shame the staff messed up with the sound equipment and they ended up having a shorter set than they were meant to. They got the crowd going and everyone was enjoying themselves. This makes me immensely happy. We need more Japanese rock bands to come here. I hope I get to see them LIVE again soon!

We ended up getting back into Milton Keynes around 11pm. We had to get the slow train back. My feet had pretty much died by the time we got home.

I am still smiling about the whole thing. I really enjoyed it. Got to see some good ol' friends too. ^_^

Here, have my face with the other half.

Til next time! ♥
