Hyper Japan 2015

Hey there!

I went to Hyper Japan yesterday and I jad so much fun. For those of you who don't know, it is a convention / festival of everything Japanese. Games, anime, music, food. I had never been up until yesteday and I am so glad I did. My feet hate me since we went for all day. Dual Ticket!

I shall be posting many images of my adventures. I didn't take too many but enough that it has good memories.

Travelling to London is always a drag, it was rather warm too so I got rather hot on the tube. I adore my outfit, even though I was burning up in it.

I love my top and my tights, both I bought in Tokyo. Adorable cat tights! A lady on the tube complimented them and said she wanted some. Hehe. Hopes she finds some!

Onwards to the O2!

I hav no idea why my finger is in the way. But I decdied to take a few images of the beautiful weather and the architecture down in North Greenwich just outside the O2 Arena. Also took a picture of my green dual ticket wristband. I spent most of the day holding my arm up so the staff could see it to let me in areas.

We had lunch in GBK, cheese burger and a coke. Gain energy to get us through the afternoon.

We started off in Area 1 which was Nintendo and gaming area. Lost of manga and merch too.

As you can see in the far right of the image we have an Attack on Titan Colossus Titan head.

AHH!!

We had a browse and saw lots of cute things, played a few of the games that were on display. Played a little Sword Art Online, pretty good. I will most likely purchase it when it is released.

Next up was looking around Area 2, which was all the stalls and things like that. I didn't really like much of what was there. Had a laugh with some people selling DVDs and ended up wandering towards the Wembley X Japan stall.

Now, X-Japan is kind of a big band in Japan, well in he J-rock and VK world. They are a huge influence on a lot of bands out there. They are having a world film premier and a concert in March next year. I went over to have a look and chat about it. As the conversation progressed I ended up buying myself a ticket which also includes Meet & Greet. This will probably be my only time seeing them, considering one of the members is injured and won't be able to play for much longer. It is injury brought on by playing piano and drums for so long.

The ticket comes in a lovely leather holder. ^_^

After this however, I ended up seeing two members of this band LIVE. I have pirctures to prove it!

I was on the 2nd Floor so the image of them on stage isn't to great. They played some of my favourite songs by them. Utterly magical.

Once they finished playing we wandered off into the gaming area again. Played a few more games, went to see if there was anything we wanted to buy. I ended up buying myself a CardCaptor Sakura figure. It was the one that was released the day we left Tokyo last year. I am so happy I bought it!

Cardcaptor Sakura spam!

This is so adorable! Aaaahhh!!! ♥♥♥

I will finish on the best event that happened all day. I went to a Meet & Greet of a band that I absolutely love. True, I don't always listen to them but when I do, I love every second, I dance and sing along to pretty much every song.

That band is.... Lost Ash!
Prepare for spam..

I bought a few things, a photoset, which will be displayed below, a nice group picture with an enma board and a cute little mirror!

I got the image signed!! They were the sweetest people I have ever met. I had a chat with them about the UK, I tried to welcome them as best as I could. I hope they enjoy their time here. Their twitter is full of images of them sightseeing. I would like them to come here again.

Photoset!

Last but not least... I got to get a picture taken with them! Adorable!!

After the shaking subsided, we decided to go for a cheeky Nandos and then sit in a Matsuri Garden with a cold Kirin beer before Lost Ash played LIVE.

The live was truly amazing. It is a shame the staff messed up with the sound equipment and they ended up having a shorter set than they were meant to. They got the crowd going and everyone was enjoying themselves. This makes me immensely happy. We need more Japanese rock bands to come here. I hope I get to see them LIVE again soon!

We ended up getting back into Milton Keynes around 11pm. We had to get the slow train back. My feet had pretty much died by the time we got home.

I am still smiling about the whole thing. I really enjoyed it. Got to see some good ol' friends too. ^_^

Here, have my face with the other half.

Til next time! ♥

Drawing Post #11 - Looking For Group

Hi all!

Yay another drawing post! I still have plenty more! Haha

This one I did for a laugh, I was reading the comic at the time and I was bored.

Richard! Everyone loves this guy. It was quite simple to draw, but like I said I was bored at the time.
I still need to read and catch up on this comic, but...effort!

Drawing Post #10 - Ouran High School Host Club

Howdy!

I love drawing and I love anime just as much!

This particular anime is one of my favourites, as I am sure it is for many others. It is funny - it cheers me up when I feel down. A nice romance story, it also makes me cry in places.

I decided to draw some characters!

I drew the twins! Yay!

Why not? Haha. I loved these two as characters, individual and as a duo. I didn't draw any of the other characters, I might have to look into it. ^__^

Drawing Post #9 - Sword Art Online

Good Evening!

Another drawing post! A nice change from the weird deck posts I have been doing.

Again, it is an old drawing I did a few years back. I had a lot of time on my hands while my other half was out of the country.

I watched a lot of different anime, it passed the time, cheered me up. All that jazz.

I decided to take a look at Sword Art Online. This anime was very good, but I was disappointed by the ending. I enjoyed it enough to draw a character however.

I decided to draw Asuna as she was a very good character in the beginning. Slowly she became a bit rubbish in my opinion, but heyho!

I have yet to try the second series, I've heard mixed reviews on it so I am not sure, I didn't enjoy the first one enough to be hyped over it. Maybe I should give it a go though. You never know, I might enjoy it!

Did any of you like SAO? What do you think to the second series?

Cardfight! Vanguard - Bermuda Triangle

Good Afternoon!

I wanted to share another deck I like using. This is a game I love to play with a couple of people. Nice to socialize once in a while ^_^

So yes, on with the deck!

This one is a mermaid theme. If you hadn't noticed the others were Knights and Vampires/Demons ^__^

Grade 0

I like this one as a starter, free card bouncing! Yay!

I like having extra crits in this deck. Especially since I can put them back with another card effect.

Grade 1

They redesigned the perfect guards for this clan, I love both versions. They have new ones for a subclan - it is all Lolita clothing style. So cute.

I was so happy when this was released, it meant that it gave this deck a bit more aggressive power.

I love that this card is in my deck, when used with the Grade 2, it becomes a nice little attack which people prefer to guard. Your opponent does not want you to have card advantage.

Grade 2

Again, another card I was happy about because it makes this deck more aggressive.

This is the Grade 2 that goes with the Grade 1, the combo is very good for card advantage.

Grade 3

This card is fantastic for putting unwanted triggers from hand into the deck.

We all love a bit of a cross ride!

I am so happy this was released. It finally made this deck slightly more competitive.

Last but not least..

I even have a playmat to go with it!

I bought and built this deck because I thought it was cute and not many people use this particular build. Once they started releasing new sub-clans for it, it started fading into the background. I have fun with this deck, hence why it is still together and not pulled apart and in a folder.

I wonder what the Stride(Grade 4) for this clan will be.. Hmmm..

Final Fantasy Type-0

It is finally here!

It would have turned up yesterday but no-one was in the collect it so I had to grab it today. Which kinda sucks but YAY!

I took pictures of the items in the box. Here we go!

Instant excitement once the sleeve comes off! Aaahh!!!

Now for the innards of the box!

So much prettyness!

We also get a cute little manga!

Now time for the artbook! The art is stunning. I took a few images from random pages.

I am playing the intro at the moment and the music is absolutely beautiful. <3
