Drawing Post #8 - The Last Remnant

Good Morning!

I thought I would take a break from posting my anime drawings and share something I am pretty proud of.

I was playing the game The Last Remnant. It was fun for a while, got really laggy and annoying. I kinda lost sight of what I was doing when I stopped playing for a while. I did however decide to try and draw one of the characters I thought was quite badass.

BEHOLD David Nasau! Hahaha I loved this character. I have just noticed you can see the image underneath dammit!

He isn't perfect, I'm not good at drawing eyes or mouths. But I love the detail I put on his outfit. Hehe ^_^

I did enjoy drawing this character. I am hoping to get better a bit and hopefully draw more like this handsome man!

Cardfight! Vanguard - Dark Irregulars

Greetings again!

I enjoyed writing about my Jewel Knights last time so I thought I would show you another deck I have.

This is one of my favourite decks. It took me forever to complete the deck due to some of the cards are in the older sets and never got reprinted. So, onward with the prettyness!

Grade 0

 

Let us start with the little handsome devil. My Starter. I find him highly useful. When I remember to use him haha!

 

This is my trigger lineup. I use a mix of the old cards and "new" cards. I am excited to see if they bring any new ones out in the upcoming sets!

 

Grade 1

 

 

The lovely Vlad! I prefer this Perfect Guard more than the other one this clan has. It is a mad rabbit I think? I do love the vampire though!

 

This lovely lady is a difficult one to get hold of. It took me forever to get the 4th card. She was only printed in one set of cards, and she hasn't been reprinted. I got the majority of them in a jank deck I bought from Australia. I am so happy, this card is pretty much the main target of "blow up" effects because she can get nasty. haha!

 

This beautiful creature is a great combo with the card above. He basically gives her power by using his effect. This little combo can get nasty. Hehe~

 

This card is not a favourite one of mine but she handles difficult cards on the opponents field that you know you need to get rid of asap. She is useful, but I would never have more than 2 in a deck. Her cost is too much.

 

 

Grade 2





 

This beautiful fellow is amazing as a vanguard and rear guard. People seem to forget that his effect goes off if I hit anything, it doesn't have to be a vanguard - and their is no cost. This card is great for building up the soul quickly and early.

 

This little man is the "Legion Mate" He is quite nice on rear-guard on his own once I have Legion.

 

Next up, pretty lady! She is a nice card once I have 10 cards in the soul. She is constantly a 12K, on attack and defence. Which is great for the new upcoming sets.

 

This dude I traded my other 2 for the "Legion Mate" I love using him and Blue Dust, I WILL soul charge that turn. Yeah, he has a cost, but he puts 3 cards into the soul - totally worth it.

 

 

Grade 3

 

This guy is the one that the Grade 2 "Legion Mate" goes with. Together they create a 20K attack, he gains more power if I have a certain amount in the soul and gives other units power if I have even more in the soul. Great pressure to get rid of guard in the opponents hand.

 





 

I like using this guy as my "finisher" simply because people can't use certain cards to guard if I have a certain amount in the soul. He is also great for getting cards in the soul. He has the same effect as the Grade 1 Jellyfish/slime card. Again, with Doreen on the field, this combo can get nasty.

 

I absolutely love this deck, it is a huge amount of fun to play.

 

There we have it! My build of Dark Irregulars. Also known as "My Boys" they are all pretty badass looking. I love the artwork on most of these cards.

Cardfight Vanguard - Jewel Knights

Good Evening!

I play a Japanese TCG called Cardfight! Vanguard. I have had a lot of fun playing it. I like going to test my decks at National Tournaments and things. Gain experience and learn to play the decks better.

We had an event on Saturday. The new set had come out so everyone was using the new "stride" units. This is a new type of card that has been added to the game. I however, had none. This was fine, as I don't plan to buy any for a while.

I took a deck I used at Nationals last year.

Jewel Knights - Ashlei / Ashlei Reverse / Julia
This is my deck list, in images because they are beyond pretty.

Grade 0

This little pretty thing is my "starter" Very handy sat behind my Vanguard. ^^

This is my trigger line up. Quite annoying how one of my crit triggers isn't a "Jewel Knight"

 

 

Grade 1

This little happy chappy is to help my Grade 3 attack hit properly when I don't have too much damage.

A Nice ditch and draw. It helps gain defensive cards.

I love this little 10k beater

My lovely perfect guards and quintet wall! Amazing guarding skills.

 

Grade 2

This beauty is a 12k beater. Works well with Shellie on the field.

This one is great for the Grade 3 lineup that I have.

I love using this one for when I have 2 damage. Fill up the field without using my hand. ^^

 

Grade 3

I love starting with this one. She gives anything that goes on top + 10K power and an extra damage.

Ideally I need to run 4 of these with the ones above. I love how I got an SP of one of these. Super shiny rare!

Finally, Julia. This card is underrated. She fills the field after her attack, so you can get more attacks in. Fantastic. I used this card with the top Grade 3 card at Nationals and got to 5th round knocked out in 5th I tweaked it and put the reverse card in. Because why not.

 

I really enjoyed playing this deck on Saturday. The fact I was able to withstand the new power-ups to decks and still come 4th out of 16.

 

I have a lot of new plans for this deck. I cannot wait to try them out. Let me know what you think, and what decks you play! ^__^

Drawing Post #7 - Cardcaptor Sakura

Good Evening!

Just a small update today. I have a bigger one planned but I haven't had the chance to do it yet!

I thought I would share something I drew a while ago.

Cardcaptors! I love this anime so much. I watched it recently, I cried like I did back when I was younger. Moreso this time round because I understood the feelings of things a bit more.

Let us start with Sakura



 

This is a given. Drawing her was a must I think. I really enjoyed drawing her.

 

Shaoran Li. I loved this character. I have just noticed I never drew the detail on the talismans. Ah well! Still looks amazing regardless. His outfit was really fun to draw.

This anime will forever have a place in my heart. ^__^

I may even draw some other characters at some point in the future.

Drawing Post #6 - Ah! My Goddess!

Hello!

This is another drawing post! I have a lot to post. Haha!

This particular drawing I adore, it took me a while to draw, however it is a shame I no longer have the original. I regret giving it away.

It is a drawing of one of the characters from Ah! My Goddess. This series is kinda special to me due to reasons which I will not go into.

So here we have the WIP of the pencil!

 

 

Belldandy! Yay! I absolutely love Belldandy from the anime series. I got to this point and didn't want to ruin it. I was worried that drawing the hair was going to be difficult and I'd get frustrated and throw it away

 

WIP2 - By this point, I am glad I didn't throw it away. I was so happy with this I encouraged myself to complete it.

 

Irritatingly enough, I completed it then realised I had some weird smudge on her nose. I still love this regardless! The hair took me ages to do, an hour maybe? Damn that hair!

This is where I got silly. I loved the image so much I scanned it onto my pc and decided to attempt to digitally colour her. Considering I had never coloured anything on a pc before, I was pretty happy with the result.

 

Annoying how the colouring is different on each monitor that I see this on. *sigh* ah well. I carried on and this was the end result.

I am happy with it, I didn't get around to learning how to do shadowing or anything, I was more upset at the fact that her skin is too dark. I didn't realise this until I had completed it.

I had a lot of fun drawing this picture. I do wish I had kept it now. But I still have the digital copy so I cannot complain too much.

I do need to try and practice to do digital colour, it was fun when I was doing it, but frustrated I didn't know enough to make it perfect.

Drawing Post #5 - Digimon

Good Evening!

I thought I would take you down memory lane.

I went through a phase where I drew a lot, because my other-half was across the world for 6 months, I didn't know what to do with myself.

I restarted watching Digimon Adventure!

I have loved that anime since I was small, I still love it now after so many years!

Whilst I was watching, I decided to draw some of the characters!

 First off, here we have Tai and Mat. I have always been a fan of Mat, I have no idea why, I just have. :3

 

 

Next up, here we have Mimi and Sora. I love a lot of the characters, they have their sense of purpose which I think is the point.

 

 

Here we have Izzy and Joe. These two characters always made me smile, because they were the "geeks" of the group and somehow always managed to help the gang get out of trouble.

 

Unfortunately, I never got around to drawing TK and Kari. My two favourite characters and I never actually drew them. I watched the second series more for those two than I did anything else.

I am not very good with drawing full body images so I feel very happy about these. :3

I may even re-watch the series again!

I have been tempted to try and draw their digimon at some point. Hmm.

Drawing Post #4

Hello again!

Yes it is another post, already!

Like I said I have a lot of old artwork I want to post up before I start posting up new things! I hope it doesn't bore you.

This one is a lot of drawings thrown into one. I was going through a phase.

A My Little Pony Phase.

This was only a few years ago, I enjoyed the series and I enjoyed the characters. It was something fun I enjoyed with friends.

Anywho I decided to draw a few of the characters, which I found rather fun!

So here we have Fluttershy!

Princess Luna!

Princess Celestia!

Derpy!

I only drew a few, I ended up getting more hours at work and didn't really have time to draw much.

It seems silly, but isn't that the point? Find silly and fun things in life and enjoy it?

The most fun to draw had to be Fluttershy, I love her as a character- I think she is adorable. I loved putting the little detail on her outfit. I also liked drawing Celestia, trying to get the detail in. Beautiful!
